The Hermit

An old, wise man is walking alone above the clouds or the edge of a very high mountain. In his right hand he is carrying a lamp and inside it is a star, or also known as the astral light- the material human spirits are made of. The soul that has suffered and walked so many journeys are finally embarked on the one that matters the most: the journey towards its own self.

His figure is gliding above the mundane and ordinary because nothing in his journey is simple and easy. His hair and his beard are white, a symbol of purity and recognised attribute of the archetype of the ,,wise man,,. His posture is confident and he carefully looks at his own steps because he knows already that every thought and action build his own life and nothing is to be overlooked.

The right hand is linked to the left side of the brain where the creativity and wild and irrational side of the human mind lays. In his left hand that is linked to the right side of the brain is, hold a walking stick. It is the faith and godly present in one and the rational and practical material world in the other. Both united udder his dark cloak.

His expression is calm and his posture confident. He knows that he needs to make the whole journey alone and this is the test of each human life. To trust the creator and the universal wisdom that also lives within him.

The Hermit has willingly abandoned the vanity of the world and the everyday noise for the treasures which are waiting to be discovered and that revealed themselves only in front of the eyes of the one who has the sight to see them.

After finding the strength ( card 8 from the Major Arcana)to recognise its own shadow, the soul dives deep into the bowels of the subconscious to know thyself.
